Hoping to provide a framework for the emerging krill oil market, the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega 3s (GOED), Salt Lake City, UT, has started developing a voluntary monograph. All of the major manufacturers of krill oil products for human consumption are currently participating in the process. GOED is currently inviting any other interested companies to participate by contacting the organization.
